Add a booking link to Google Maps, so guests who find you can book at once
Picture someone typing "massage near me" on their phone. They see your shop on the map, the photos, the stars, and decide within seconds. If the only buttons are "Call" or a LINE link that waits for someone to answer, they go back to the list. The shop with a booking link right there gets that guest.
Why Google Maps matters more than your own website
Hardly anyone types a small service shop's web address. New guests find shops through Google Maps, especially tourists and people new to the area. Your Google Business Profile is the online shop front people see most, and so it is where a booking link belongs most.
Step 1: Claim your Google Business Profile
Search for your shop on Google Maps. If it is listed but has no owner yet, there is an "Own this business?" button. If it is not listed at all, create it at business.google.com. Google confirms you are the owner by phone, email, video or post, depending on the shop.
All of this is free and done once. After that you can change hours, photos and links yourself from your phone.
Step 2: Put your booking page in as the website
In your profile, choose "Edit profile" and go to the contact section. Put your booking page link in the "Website" field. Some business types also get an "Appointment link" field; use the same link there. Menu names can differ slightly between app versions.
- Use the full link starting with https://
- Tap it from your phone after saving to check it opens your booking page
- If an old booking tool is linked, replace it. A dead link is worse than none
Step 3: Keep the details the same everywhere
Your shop name, opening hours and phone number on Google Maps should match your booking page exactly. If Maps says you are open until nine and the booking page stops at seven, guests get confused and message you to ask — which is what the booking link was meant to reduce.
The same goes for holidays: close the day both on Maps and in your booking system, so nobody travels to a closed door.
Step 4: Real photos and reviews
Guests judge by photos before they read anything. Add at least five real ones: the shop front, the treatment room, the atmosphere, your work. Phone photos are fine if the light is good and they are sharp.
Reviews are what lift a shop above the one next door. What works best is asking after the visit, while the guest still feels good. Some booking systems send a review request with your Google Maps link automatically after each visit, so nobody has to remember.
A booking link on Maps does more than it looks
Guests see real free times at once instead of asking and waiting. You get bookings at one in the morning from people who would never call that late, and fewer chat messages, because "are you free?" is already answered by the booking page.
Common questions
- Do I have to pay Google?
- No. A Google Business Profile is free, including the website and booking links.
- Can I use my LINE link instead?
- You can, but guests have to wait for an answer, and most tourists do not use LINE. A booking link shows free times and lets guests book on their own; keep LINE as a contact option on your shop page.
- Where do I find my Toosabai booking link?
- In your dashboard, go to Setup → Shop info. Your booking page link is there with a copy button. Paste it into the website field of your Google profile.
Try it on your own shop
Toosabai gives your shop its own booking page in about 20 minutes. Nothing to pay to start.
