Who this is for
A massage shop where the owner still answers the phone. One to ten therapists, sessions from 30 to 120 minutes, regulars who ask for someone by name, and couples who want two beds at once. The shop probably takes bookings on LINE and in a notebook today, and the notebook is the part that fails.
It is not for chains, spas with a front-desk team of five, or anyone who needs point-of-sale, stock, payroll or a customer marketing suite. Those needs are real, and they belong to a bigger platform.
What a massage shop actually needs from a booking system
Most "appointment software" is built for a hair salon or a clinic and then sold to everyone. A massage shop has four requirements that generic tools get wrong.
- Real durations. A 90-minute oil massage cannot be squeezed into an hour slot, and a 45-minute foot massage should not block 60. Availability has to be computed from the actual length of each service.
- A person, not just a time. Regulars come back for a therapist. The guest must be able to choose one and see only the times that person is free, or choose "no preference" and let the shop assign.
- Two beds at once. A couple is one booking that reserves two therapists at the same time, offered only when two are genuinely free. Not two separate bookings that hope to line up.
- Nothing for the guest to install. Bookings come from a link on LINE, Facebook, Google Maps or a QR code at the counter. A guest who has to create an account is a guest who phones instead.
What Toosabai does
Each shop gets a page at toosabai.com/home/your-shop with its photos, hours and a Book button. The booking takes five steps: service, date, time, therapist, name and email. The shop sees every booking on one calendar, can add walk-ins and block time, and each therapist can see her own day on her phone.
Confirmations, a reminder two hours before, and a review request after the visit are sent automatically. Guests can reschedule or cancel from a link in the confirmation without messaging the shop. Double-booking is prevented by the database, not by a warning.
What it costs, and why it is priced this way
The first 100 bookings in any month are free. A month that goes past 100 costs ฿399, charged for that month only. No card is required to start, there is no trial that expires, and a quiet month costs nothing.
This is deliberate. A small shop's revenue is seasonal, and a fixed subscription is paid in full in the month revenue halves. Usage pricing means the software is only ever paid for in a month it has clearly earned its keep.
When a bigger platform is the better choice
If you sell products at the counter and need stock control, run payroll through your booking tool, want a client marketing suite with campaigns and loyalty points, or operate several locations, choose a full salon platform. Toosabai does bookings and the messages around bookings, and stops there on purpose.

- Do my guests need to download an app?
- No. They open a link, book, and get an email. There is nothing to install and no account.
- Does it work in Thai?
- Yes. The booking page and the shop dashboard are in Thai and English, and guests get emails in the language they booked in.
- What happens if two guests book the same therapist at the same time?
- The database refuses the second one. Double-booking is impossible by construction, not caught by a warning after the fact.
- Can I still take bookings by phone?
- Yes. Enter them on the calendar and the slot closes to online booking at once. One calendar for every channel is the point.
- Can my therapists see their bookings?
- Each therapist can have a login that shows only her own day, and lets her record a walk-in, mark a no-show, or mark herself as left for the day.
