What is Toosabai?
Toosabai is a simple online booking and scheduling platform for small service businesses. You add your services, your staff and your opening hours; you get a booking page to share; your customers book themselves, 24 hours a day, without an app or an account.
The short version
A small business — a massage shop, a salon, a barbershop, a yoga studio, a tutor — spends a surprising amount of every day answering "are you free at 2pm?" across LINE, Facebook, the phone and a paper notebook. Toosabai replaces that with one link. Customers open it, see what is genuinely free, and book. The calendar updates itself.
It is built to be understandable rather than powerful. A new shop can be taking bookings in a few minutes with almost no configuration, and the parts a more complicated business needs — several staff, staff who only do certain services, classes with a set number of places — are there when they are needed and invisible when they are not.
Who uses it
Small service businesses where a customer books a person, or a place in a session, at a particular time. In practice that is one to ten staff and a single location.
- Massage shops, spas and independent therapists.
- Nail salons, hair salons, barbershops and lash studios.
- Beauty clinics and tattoo studios.
- Yoga, Pilates and fitness studios running classes with limited places.
- Tutors, guides and anyone else selling time by the slot.
What it does
Toosabai is deliberately narrow. It handles bookings and the messages around bookings, and stops there.
- A public booking page for your business, in Thai and English, at your own address.
- Services with real durations and prices, so a 90-minute treatment never lands in a 60-minute gap.
- Staff members, opening hours, breaks, closed days and per-staff availability.
- Capacity: a service can take one guest (an ordinary appointment) or several at once (a class, a workshop, a tour), with places counted and a full session closed automatically.
- Staff and service matching: everyone performs every service by default, and you restrict a person only where that is actually true.
- One shared calendar covering online bookings, walk-ins you enter yourself, and blocked-off time.
- Automatic confirmation emails, a reminder two hours before, and a review request afterwards.
- Self-service rescheduling and cancellation for the customer, from a link in their confirmation — no login, no message to you.
- Double-booking prevented by the database itself, not by a warning after the fact.
What it deliberately does not do
These are not gaps waiting to be filled; they are the reason the product stays simple enough to learn in one sitting. A business that needs them is better served by a full salon or studio platform, and we would rather say so than sell badly.
- Point-of-sale, inventory or payroll.
- Marketing campaigns, loyalty points or client-marketing suites.
- Deposits or card payments at the time of booking.
- Multiple locations or branches under one login.
- Room and equipment resource management, or enterprise shift scheduling.
What it costs
The first 100 bookings in any calendar month are free. A month that goes past 100 costs ฿399 — for that month only. There is no card required to start, no trial that expires, no per-staff pricing, no commission on bookings, and no marketplace taking a cut.
The reason is that a small business’s revenue is seasonal. A fixed monthly subscription is due in full in the month takings halve. Charging by use means the software is only ever paid for in a month it has clearly earned its keep.
How it compares to bigger platforms
Most booking software is built for a chain and sold to everyone, which is why a shop with three staff ends up paying per seat for a marketing suite it never opens. Toosabai is the opposite trade: fewer settings, one price, and a setup an owner can finish themselves on a phone.
Where a bigger platform genuinely wins — payments, stock, several branches, deep integrations — it wins, and the honest answer is to use it.
A good fit when
- You are a small service business with one location and up to about ten staff.
- Customers currently book through LINE, Facebook, the phone or a notebook.
- You want customers to book without downloading anything or creating an account.
- You run appointments, classes, or both.
- You would rather pay only in the months you are busy.
Not the right tool when
- You need point-of-sale, inventory or payroll.
- You need to take deposits or card payments at the time of booking.
- You run several branches under one login.
- You want built-in marketing campaigns and loyalty programmes.
Common questions
- What is Toosabai in one sentence?
- A simple online booking and scheduling platform for small service businesses: you get a booking page, your customers book themselves, and your calendar stays correct.
- Who is it for?
- Small service businesses with one location and roughly one to ten staff — massage shops, salons, barbershops, clinics, tattoo studios, fitness and yoga studios, tutors and guides.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing up to 100 bookings in a calendar month. A month above that is ฿399, charged for that month only. No card is needed to start and there is no expiring trial.
- Do customers need an app or an account?
- No. They open a link, book in about five taps, and receive an email. There is nothing to install.
- Does it handle group classes as well as appointments?
- Yes. Each service has a capacity: one guest for an ordinary appointment, or several for a class, workshop or tour. Places are counted and a full session closes itself.
- What languages does it work in?
- Thai and English — the booking page, the automatic emails and the owner dashboard.
- Is it a marketplace?
- No. Toosabai does not list your business to other people’s customers and takes no commission. Your booking page is yours, and you share it wherever your customers already find you.
