Group booking software for classes, workshops and tours

Set how many people can book the same time slot — 1 for a private appointment, 10 for a yoga class, 20 for a workshop. Guests book in until the class is full, then the page shows it as full. No extra setup, no separate tool.

Who this is for

Any business that sometimes runs a session with more than one guest at once — a yoga or Pilates class, a Muay Thai group session, a walking tour, a workshop, a group tutoring session. If a single instructor or guide can take a group rather than one guest at a time, this is the part of Toosabai built for that.

It’s the same booking page and the same calendar a one-on-one appointment uses — capacity is one setting on a service, not a separate product.

What capacity-based booking actually needs

Most booking tools are built around one guest per slot and treat a class as a workaround — a separate “event” feature, or a spreadsheet next to the calendar. A real group-booking system needs:

  • A number, not a workaround. Set how many people can book the same service at the same time — once, on the service itself. Change it any time a class grows or shrinks.
  • One class, many guests, one code each. Every guest who joins keeps their own confirmation, manage link, reminder and review request — the class is shared, the booking is still theirs.
  • A real stop at full. The tenth guest into a nine-spot class should see “Fully booked,” not squeeze in because nobody was counting. Toosabai enforces this at the database level, not with a warning.
  • Room for couples and private sessions too. A capacity of 1 is an ordinary appointment; a couple booking two spots on a capacity-1 service is still a single atomic booking. The same system covers both ends.

What Toosabai does

Set “how many people can book the same time?” once on any service — 1 for a private lesson, 10 for a class, 20 for a group tour. Guests booking that service see the running class (with spots left) if one is already open at their chosen time, or start a new one.

The class fills, in order, until capacity is reached — then the page marks it full instead of offering the time. Cancelling a spot reopens it immediately. The owner sees the whole class as one block on the calendar with a live count, and can move, note or cancel it as a group.

What it costs

Capacity doesn’t change the price. Toosabai counts guest bookings, not classes — a 10-person yoga class that fills counts as 10 bookings toward the free monthly allowance, the same as 10 separate appointments would. The first 100 bookings each month are free; a month that passes 100 costs ฿399, for that month only.

When this isn’t the right fit

If you need waitlists, tiered pricing per spot, or recurring class series that enrol weeks in advance automatically, Toosabai doesn’t do that yet — every class is booked slot by slot, the same as an appointment.

A good fit when

  • You run classes, group sessions, workshops or tours alongside — or instead of — one-on-one appointments.
  • You want guests to see spots left and book themselves, without a spreadsheet or a headcount at the door.
  • Your class sizes vary by service, not by one fixed studio-wide number.

Not the right tool when

  • You need a waitlist for full classes.
  • You sell class packs, memberships or per-spot pricing tiers.
  • You run recurring multi-week course enrolment rather than single sessions.

Common questions

Do I need a different plan for group bookings?
No. Capacity is a setting on any service, included at every level of the same simple pricing.
Can one guest book several spots at once, like a family?
Yes — a party of guests can book the same class together as one booking, up to the class’s remaining spots.
What happens when a class is full?
The page shows it as fully booked and won’t offer that time for that service. If someone cancels, the spot reopens immediately.
Can I run some services as classes and others as private appointments?
Yes — capacity is set per service, so a studio can offer both from the same booking page.
Does each guest in a class get their own confirmation?
Yes. Every guest gets their own confirmation email, manage link, reminder and review request, even though they share the time slot.
